The current work aims to synthesize highly fluorescent and surface-functionalized gadolinium oxide nanoparticles (Gd2O3 NPs) with (3-mercaptopropyl) trimethoxysilane (MPTMS). surface modification of Gd2O3 MPTMS enhanced the stability solubility nanoprobe in aqueous media. size was controlled 7 ± 1 nm using coating. These valued points made MPTMS@Gd2O3 as economical, sensitive, selective a quick response time for detection cysteine via simple fluorescence-based methodology. proposed strategy has offered reliable concentration range 1–100 µm limit 42 nm. sensing human serum jointly acknowledged potential prospect developing sensors body fluids great accuracy.
